OUR INCISION WITH MESRINE

The name may sound familiar to you if you're into public enemy/most wanted stuff or if you're often checking the serial killer directory specifically during the 70s. Not to mention the film with the same title which was portrayed by French actor Vincent Cassel  which some of you might not know him unless I say the name Monicca Belucci hahaha I know I'm sounding a bit like a showbiz charlatan here but the dude is maried to that famous Italian actress...well let's not go into details. MESRINE is a grindcore band from Quebec, Canada and mostly have references with notorious serial kill-ers/ings in their songs. Get a crack on it...

MUMAKIL'S RAMPAGE

Before going on a 2 weeks work trip I decided to pile more interviews that were included on the first issue. This is Geneva, Switzerland's chaos blast masters MUMAKIL, this was done following the release of their Customized Warfare LP (2006) that have pulled enormous attention to the ever growing grindcore scene and respect-worthy reviews from different underground media globally. MUMAKIL is currently included on Relapse Records roster and have managed to release Behold the Failure (2009). Just most recently they did a split with another grindcore hardworkers BLOCKHEAD (July 2012).  Make way or be crushed!!

Slasher Thrash Metal!? Who says gore is only for grind and BDMs? BITCHSLICER is a porn-slash-gore thrash metal outfit from PA, USA. The interiew was set up by our friend Froi of Radikal Primates between 2006 and 2007. Check this out.

SUNK THE 2nd ISSUE

Just finished some of the layout for the blog page just to keep it running and up to date hehehe. BIRDFLESH 2007 INTERVIEW

I was in contact with Adde Mitroulis (Drum/Vox) a.k.a. Smattro Ansjovis of Birdflesh early 2007, the line-up consist of then bassist Moshbastard (a.k.a. Barbro Havohej) and Axemaster Achmed Abdulex (current member). This interview was done few weeks after the Obscene Extreme 2007 and prior to the release of their split with Hatebeak. Band is currently on hiatus prior to their last full-length effort The Farmer's Wrath (2008). Smattro is also a fulltime member of the band Entrails, General Surgery, Jigsore Terror and Overdeth (yeah! that's Overkill-Megadeth for you).

KITG issue #1 front cover

This is KITG's front cover (.jpg format) still  unable to produce printed copies as of the moment due to lack of resources ofcourse that corresponds to money maters and everything in between. This is not the new issue that I am working on...this was supposed to be released in print 2008 or early 2009.

Today is Obscene Extreme Fest day 1!

Too bad I haven't had money for the train or the airplane maybe and the permission to go outside Rome not even our house...Fuck! I have all the plans in my mind and this may have been the best event that I can review or feature on KITG. Sadly, It's impossible for me to see the lottery of extreme bands in a 3 day or a week of festivity...this could've been a dream come true...'till then OEF2013 is a must! For now I need to find a job and start saving for the next years event...Here's this years event poster/flyer as my only souvenir :(

Do you have ever embraced boredom in your entire life? Mind you...living far away from home with nobody else to talk to or a nearby store to buy a bottle of beer after 7pm...you got to be so damn churned to waste it all on smelling fumes and watch how the sun got totally eradicated. Benvenuti! Holy shit zombie jizz suckers we're back! Oh, wait we never really started the whole thing so this count as a fresh butcher...crap! Yeah I never really had the chance to fully release my mega blockbuster zine in print after the terrible 9/11 incident and due to preperation for the 2012 as being rumoured to be the end of the world (through which I refer to as laziness and lack of interest), you wouldn't be interested in knowing and reading what's behind the delay and the real lame excuses for not making and releasing it on time...I may have dissapointed alot of contacts and wasted too much excitement only to set false expectations and bowls of empty shits to people who helped and almost made it possible. Whew! How pathetic I'd become through out the ages...but there's always a saying promises are made to be broken hahahaha. Vile vixens of the underGOREround I present to you the official website (or blogsite which most geek scumbags prefer to label it) of KNIFE IN THE GUT which also goes by the early monicker of EMBALMED SANCTORUM my first zine. For cronological background and technicallity this marks as our 3rd issue after releasing ES first wayback 1996 and 1997 for the first KITG newsletter which was then dubbed as SUNK THE KNIFE IN THE GUT. The 2nd issue for ES never really shaun the lights of the sun as it was plunged into eternal damnation...rubbled to filth and dust, I fucking regret it not to have a digital cam or a scanner of my own back then, to atleast pile a softcopy or backup for the print files...As far as my memory can recall ES#2 is supposed to feature several independent death/doom/blackmetal bands both from local (Philippines) and international scenes, bands like ICONOCLAST (Phi), BETHEL (Fin), MORBIFIC (Ind),HELOISA ex BRAINDEAD (MAL), KRATORNAS (Phi), CAUTERY (Austria) , ABBADON (NE),CURSEDWAYS (Fra) are amongst the featured bands to appear on that very issue. I am still hoping that I can go back to my old place and look for the original copies so I can atleast post it to this blogshit thing. Nevertheless after years of frsutrations of finding a new place, a job and a life...I decided to trace back my interest and skills of doing paper stuff also since the nature of my previous employments involves piling of shit of paper files for people and their money which is obviously not my forte, renting a small apartment and having a full access to computer and the internet at work I decided to create a new project thus, KITG was unleashed. Between 2007 and 2008 I managed to smuggled access and pen friends globally doing interviews and scene updates mostly this time for GRINDCORE, CRUST, POWERVIOLENCE, GOREGRIND DEATH, FASTCORE subgenres. I was to release a pro/print copy of KITG's debut in early 2009 with a help of a local drunk buddy who also contributed and collaborated to the project, tragically like the most anticipated material to be released it again find it's downfall as some of the files we're corrupted half of the review materials were screwed up and got lost from often transfers and general house cleaning requied by who else the owner of the house whose apparently is my mother. Some are thrown and left to rot including some of my then well-hidden porn collections and old materials left from the tape trading era. Well again years needed to prowl it's way and this time I made it certain that I would have a backup of atleast the bands I've interviewed files and layout backups for the zine. I was indedd able to back up if not all atleast the important ones and therefore have finally made up my mind to again continue and pursue my endless battle with boredom and total bombardment of sickenning life. Up to this point I already have completed re-layouting the zine with the help of today's new software evolution downloaded through various free websites and the genious invention of torrent sharing plus a little skill for publishing enhanced and tipped from watching Youtube's and For dummy books was I able to compile the materials I thought I'd again never be able to complete. As of this reading 90% of the pages have been completed. In a few days for as long as free time and internet connection cooperates I plan of posting all the pages through this blog including the unreleased interviews and articles for KITG. starting it with the front cover and the content features. While reading this initial blog entry yours trully also started up the follow up issue for the 2nd outing of KITG which will feature mostly the same scope as the 1st issue, only this time we are in a new location...moving the entire project to EUROPE! So far I have attended a couple of shows and met and contacted new friends. The next issue will have better and uptight features and hopefully be able to evolve to a regular zine.
